Kisses 25ยข

Photo booths bring out the best in camera shy people.

Using pictures I found on Pinterest, John was able to repurpose a ticket booth to create a kissing booth to use for photos at Sarah’s and Daniel’s wedding, and I got a kiss from my sweetheart.

Not everyone needed props…a few actually just gathered with friends and family and smiled.

Finally, Daniel steals a kiss from his bride.

Photo Booth: FUNbooth

What is it about a photo booth that inspires people to relax and pose for such fun pictures?

When I hear the words photo booth, I wrinkle my nose thinking it’s a ridiculous idea, but a photo booth seems to be a way to guarantee lots of laughs and great pictures. A Christmas Day photo booth set up a couple of years ago with hats, scarves and mustaches resulted in some after dinner fun.

photobooth2Since Emily and Brian enjoy hamming it up, a photo booth, or as Mike, the wedding photographer refers to it, a FUNbooth resulted in smiles, laughter, and fun pictures of wedding guests that I’m sure will bring back memories of their wedding day for years to come. Weigh-In Wednesday: Week 46

Week 46 provided more than a couple of weight loss challenges.

  1. Big Mac on Friday. My favorite stress food for lunch on Friday after working for two days to get the hangar ready for the wedding.
  2. Chili and sandwich bar. During Friday night’s rehearsal party I ate two bowls of chili, a sandwich, sangria, soda, and cookies.
  3. Food trucks. The Treehouse Truck, Fish Out of Water, and The Crepe Company followed by bites of several desserts from the sweets table at Saturday’s wedding.
  4. Too many sodas. Breaks from setting up and breaking down included too many sodas.

Despite all of the obstacles I managed to only gain one pound during the wedding week. Not too bad.

Back at home and on a regular schedule I’ll get on track with weight loss as well.
