Known for its perfect climate for flowers, Portland, Oregon’s nicknamed the City of Roses. While we saw flowers around every corner, few were roses.
And more hydrangeas than I’ve ever seen.
I didn’t even know this could possibly be the color of a real flower.
Of course every table had fresh flowers.
Instead of the City of Roses, Portland should just be known as the City of Flowers.
I noticed that many friends posted pictures of the flowers they received from their husbands for Valentine’s Day on Saturday.
Not to brag, but my wonderful husband sent me hundreds of flowers for Valentine’s Day.
Hydrangeas for the coffee table.
Roses, carnations, and baby’s breath for the dining table.
Flowers on the porch.
Flowers in every room of the house.
Even some flowering plants that I can enjoy for years to come.
Flowers on Valentine’s Day…one of the advantages of a wedding.
